Refund policy

1. DIGITAL PRODUCT NATURE

By purchasing any digital product from ASF, you acknowledge that:

  • The product is non-tangible and cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.

  • Downloading or accessing the file constitutes delivery and finalization of the transaction.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR A REFUND OR EXCHANGE

We will issue a full refund or exchange (at our discretion) only in the following cases:

  • Corrupted or Unusable Files: The downloaded file is structurally corrupted, cannot be opened, or fails to load in the advertised software environment (e.g., Tekla, Advance Steel, AutoCAD, or standard CNC controllers), and we are unable to provide a working replacement within 48 hours.

  • Materially Incorrect Product: The delivered file materially does not match the product description on the sales page (e.g., you purchased a stair stringer kit but received a railing kit).

  • Duplicate Billing: You were accidentally charged more than once for the same transaction. We will refund the duplicate charge promptly after verification.

3. CONDITIONS THAT DO NOT QUALIFY FOR A REFUND

We cannot issue a refund or exchange in the following situations:

  • Change of mind: You no longer need the file or no longer wish to use it after download.

  • Software incompatibility: The product requires specific software versions (e.g., Tekla 2022 or newer). We clearly list these requirements on each product page. Please verify your system compatibility before purchasing.

  • User modification or resale: You have edited, modified, or redistributed the file to third parties (this violates our End-User License Agreement).

  • Lost files: You lost the file after download. We offer re-download functionality via your account, but this does not constitute grounds for a refund.

4. TIME FRAME FOR CLAIMS

All refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of the original purchase. Any requests submitted after this window will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are generally not eligible for a refund.

5. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To initiate a refund request, please contact us with the following details:

  • Product name

  • Reason for the request (including screenshots or error logs, if applicable)

We will review your request within 2–3 business days and respond with a resolution. If a refund is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment processor.

6. LICENSING AND USE RIGHTS

Please note that purchasing a digital product grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licenseto use the files for your own fabrication or design projects. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of the raw digital files is strictly prohibited and forfeits any right to support or refund.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This Return and Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
